To Reach Sunday Pond
Take I-95 in Maine
to exit 244 at Medway. Go west on State Route 157 about 12 miles to the
town of Millinocket. From Millinocket, follow the signs to Baxter State
Park and look for the Sunday Pond Cabin sign just after the
mural-covered "Pockwockamus Rock"
To Reach Compass Pond
.Take I-95 in Maine to exit 244
at Medway. Go west on State Route 157 about 12 miles to the town of
Millinocket. From Millinocket, follow the signs to Baxter State Park,
turn off the Baxter Park Road and onto the Golden Road just past the
store at Millinocket Lake using the Debsconeag Crossover. Watch for
Compass Pond Cabin sign.
